WiX toolset on CodePlex

The Windows Installer XML (WiX) is a toolset that builds Windows installation packages from XML source code. The toolset supports a command line environment that developers may integrate into their build processes to build MSI and MSM setup packages. Rated 5 Stars (out of 5) - Take a little time to learn the XML then you can do anything with WIX that other tools charge 1000s for. And the rest can be done with your own custom actions. This should be free anyway to promote the MSI standard, so the WIX tool is essential to make it accessible to all developers.

Rated 5 Stars (out of 5) - Tried NSIS and InstallShield. And this is my number one choise by allot. The only thing it needs is a better bootstrapper feature like dotNetInstaller, to complete this product.

Rated 4 Stars (out of 5) - IThis tool is the best out there for creating installers, updaters, and patchers. The flexibility of WiX is brilliant! I'm going to give this release 4 stars, but only because of the lack of Burn. If Burn provides me the benefits I believe it will, WiX will definitely be a 5-star product overall.
