WiX toolset on CodePlex

The Windows Installer XML (WiX) is a toolset that builds Windows installation packages from XML source code. The toolset supports a command line environment that developers may integrate into their build processes to build MSI and MSM setup packages. Rated 1 Stars (out of 5) - When I double click in Windows 7 on Wix35.msi I get the following message: This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package. Does Wix3.5 work on Windows 7? Can you suggest a solution to this problem?

Rated 5 Stars (out of 5) - Take a little time to learn the XML then you can do anything with WIX that other tools charge 1000s for. And the rest can be done with your own custom actions. This should be free anyway to promote the MSI standard, so the WIX tool is essential to make it accessible to all developers.
